Bump & Bump, LLP was formed as a general practice law firm in 1991 between brothers Jeffrey and William Bump.  Prior to that time, William had been practicing law with their father, Wilbur N. Bump in West Des Moines, Iowa since 1984, and Jeffrey had been practicing law with an 85-lawyer law firm in Dallas, Texas since 1988.   With their father’s retirement in 1990, and Jeffrey’s desire to return to Iowa with his wife to start a family, the partnership began.

Over the years the brothers merged two law firms into their practice: the law practice of John Donahey, who had been practicing in Panora since his return from active duty in WWII in 1945, and the practice of W. Dean Moore, whose law firm in Stuart had been in the same location in downtown Stuart since 1890.

Bump & Bump built a modern office building in Stuart in 2006, followed by a new building in Panora in 2008.  Our facilities were designed with all of the amenities and features necessary to meet your legal needs efficiently and effectively.
